Reference Centers at Bobst Library
What is a reference center?
A reference center provides staff who can help you locate materials or plan your research strategy. It also houses basic indexes, encyclopedias, dictionaries, bibliographies, directories, and handbooks. Reference centers are located on the first, sixth, and ninth floors of Bobst Library.
What can I find at each reference center?
General, Humanities, & Social Sciences
First Floor (Ref1)

The first floor referenc desk provides services in the social sciences and humanities, as well as answers general reference questions. Research consultations are available with librarians.
Business & Government Documents
Sixth Floor (Ref6)

The sixth floor reference desk provides services in business (national and international) and government documents. United States and United Nations Documents can be found here.
Physical & Life Sciences/Coles Center
Ninth Floor (Ref9)

The ninth floor reference center answers questions and provides services for the physical and life sciences. Additionally, Rapid Document Retrieval Services are provided here for scientific journals.
