There are several ways to find a video in BobCat.
Option 1: From the videos & music link on the home page

From the home page, (http://www.library.nyu.edu), select the
videos & music link:

The link above will take you to the page below. From this page, type in a keyword, author, title of the video you're looking for, and click on the Start Search Link.

Your results list will show only videos.
Option 2: From BobCat's Phrase Search Menu

Enter the title or author of the video in the search box:

Click on Submit Search
- Your results list will include videos, books, etc.
Option 3: BobCat Location Search
Limit your search to a location within Bobst Library--the Avery Fisher location holds all videos in Bobst

From the BobCat entry page (BobCat is the NYU Libraries Catalog), select Avery Fisher Center (Music/Media) from the Bobst Library (all locations) drop down menu:

The items in the results list will all be located in the Avery Fisher center, which is where the videos (and music) is kept.
Option 4: Keyword Search with Limits

In keyword mode, click the Limits button. (This can be done before or after a search).

Select Videorecordings, Films from the Format drop down menu.

Click on the Set Limits button.

Proceed with your search. The results will be limited to Videorecordings.
IMPORTANT
The limit will remain in effect until you repeat the above process to change it, or until you click the "Clear Limits" button.
